Copyright / DMCA Policy

Effective date: To be set at launch

We don't host media

Streamo4K is a media player. We do not host, store, stream, index, link to or distribute any TV channels, videos, playlists or other media. The app plays content that each user adds from their own sources, and that content never passes through our servers.

Because of this, we cannot remove content from a third-party server or from a user's device. Notices about streams or playlists should be sent to the party that hosts them.

What this policy covers

This policy covers material we do control: this website, our help articles and other published pages, the app itself, our store listings and any content we publish on our own channels. We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices about that material.

How to send a notice

Send a written notice to our designated agent with the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
  • Identification of the material on our website or in our app that you believe is infringing, with enough detail (such as a URL) for us to find it.
  • Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Designated agent: name and postal address to be completed before launch
Email: legal@streamo4k.com

Counter-notice

If material you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

We will close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others, where appropriate.

Misuse of notices

Knowingly making false claims in a notice or counter-notice may make you liable for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, please seek legal advice first.
