Set up the TV guide (EPG)

Add XMLTV guide sources and fix channels that don't match.

The TV guide (EPG) shows what is on each channel. Xtream Codes and Stalker logins usually include guide data automatically. For M3U playlists you may need to add an XMLTV link.

Add an XMLTV source

  1. Step 1: Go to Settings → TV guide → Add XMLTV source.
  2. Step 2: Enter the URL of the guide file. Both .xml and compressed .xml.gz files work.
  3. Step 3: Save. The guide downloads in the background; large guides can take a minute.

The first guide source is free. Adding more than one source and merging them needs Premium.

When a channel shows no guide

  • Channels are matched to guide entries by their ID and name. Most match automatically.
  • If one doesn't, open the channel's options and choose Guide mapping to pick the right guide channel by hand.
  • Check that the guide covers your region and the current dates — some guide files only include a day or two.

Refresh schedule

Guides refresh in the background. You can change how often in Settings → TV guide, or refresh manually at any time.
